Adolescent Therapy

Adolescence is a time of enormous change. Young people are growing, discovering who they are, and finding their place in the world. While this stage of life can be exciting, it can also bring anxiety, self-doubt, emotional intensity, overwhelm, and moments of feeling stuck.

Many adolescents carry more than they show, and parents often sense that something is weighing on their child, even when it is difficult to name exactly what that is. As a parent myself, I understand how hard it can be to watch your child struggling and not always know how best to help.

Therapy offers a calm, confidential space where they can talk freely, begin to understand their thoughts and feelings, learn ways to cope with challenges, and develop a stronger sense of themselves.

Therapy can help adolescents:

  • better understand their emotions and experiences

  • develop healthier ways of coping with stress and anxiety

  • build confidence and self-esteem

  • navigate friendships, relationships, and social pressures

  • manage school or exam stress

  • work through difficult life events, family changes, or conflict

  • feel more connected to themselves and others

From October 2026, I will be expanding my private practice to welcome adolescent clients. The waitlist for appointments will open on Tuesday, 4th August.
