My Approach

I work from a pluralistic perspective, which means I don’t follow just one fixed method. Instead, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches, based on a person-centred foundation, and tailor them to what feels most helpful for you. Some sessions might involve exploring complicated feelings or past experiences, while others might focus on the present moment, building self-awareness, or finding practical steps forward.

Before training as a fully qualified psychotherapist (HDip, MSc PCP), I spent 20 years working in corporate communications. During that time, I learned the value of listening deeply, understanding complex dynamics, and supporting people through change and challenge. These skills now enrich my therapy work, helping me hold space for your story with empathy, insight, and clarity.

Collaboration is at the heart of my approach. I check in regularly about what’s working, what isn’t, and what you need from our sessions, so therapy stays meaningful, supportive, and truly yours.

I work with people facing many different challenges, including grief and loss, anxiety, depression, panic, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, and low self-worth. I also support clients navigating relationship difficulties, family dynamics, trauma, and the pressures of work and life. Many of my clients come to therapy during times of transition; adjusting to illness, exploring personal growth, or finding their way through menopause, bullying, or career and workplace challenges.
